Intentionally, the Sun Drips Red

Intentionally, the sun drips red

And marks the tops of trees with her scarlet guilts. Indefinite like clouds

Soft as the Mountain’s sigh, i receive them. Unwashed dreams sailing

On muddied eidos where the fornication of ancient lovers reek:

Wisdom.

            Sumasalamin naman sa maagap na ulap ang ating huling pagniniig

            May pahiwatig sa ating bawat buntong-hininga

            At ang mga lumilipas na pagaspas ay waring

            Nanghihikayat, may pagtitimbang, may paghalina ang

            Salimbay ng dumadaan na uwak.

Break the fibers of your fears;

Where neither the sun shines nor the crows reach their shrieks, hide them in perpetual fermentation

That i may resurrect them to rage and an agony that razes the stars.

            At sa doon

            May umaalpas

            Isang hinagpis;

            Ang luha ng mga lumang diwata

            Ay batis na lumalakbay sa gulugod ng bulkan.

Gumising mga puslit!

Sa nakatikom na bibig ng dios ang kasagutan sa mga parabula.

Unti-unti ang pagsunog sa aklat ng Tao. Ang sarap, ang gaan buksan ng mga nakatahing mata.

            And lo and behold!

            The Angel ripped the skies.

            There was light that, finally,

            Blinds.
